International Court of Justice to rule dispute between Thailand and Khmer next month

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued its verdict on the dispute between Thailand and Cambodia over Preah Vihear Temple on November 11, Foreign Minister Surapong Tohvichakchaikul said Wednesday.

The Court informed the Thai Embassy in The Hague, his decision to back the ruling said. Earlier, the Thai side hoped the verdict would be delayed until February next year, and that the Court understood was busy with other matters pending.

Surapong quoted as saying that the ICJ is delaying the dispute between Chile and Peru and has moved the conflict between Thailand and Khmer up on its agenda
